Meet Janice

Hi! I’m Janice and here’s my story…

I am a hard-working entrepreneur who’s always looking for ways to make a positive contribution, big or small, to our community. When an opportunity opened up to start a new business right behind our family-run computer store, I was ecstatic to dig for business ideas. It has to fill a need, have a good purpose, and something that I am passionate about!

It didn’t take long before Little Hidden Gem idea came to life. For a small-town momma who has a hard time throwing away anything that still has life, loves high quality clothing yet not always willing to spend money on massive price tags, and for someone who’s always daring to be a little different to live a purpose-filled life, a women’s consignment boutique came up as the winning idea. 

At Little Hidden Gem, I designed a clean and inviting boutique-like space for women to shop on-trend and high-quality pre-loved merchandise at a fraction of its retail. I want my customers to feel proud when they come here and shop. 

If I can encourage more women to be open to shopping used merchandise to extend the life of an apparel and help cut down the staggering 64% of the 32 billion of garments that end up in landfill each year, I serve a purpose!
