Part-time Store Associate - Front End Job Description

We’re adding to our team and looking to fill a part-time sales associate position. This team member would be assigned to the register/sales floor, focusing on providing outstanding customer service while maintaining an excellent, overall appearance of the sales floor. 

The sales associate is expected to provide an efficient and courteous customer experience with a high level of energy, professionalism, and positivity. We are looking for a team player!! Someone who is a do-er and has an ‘I can figure this out’ mentality. 

Hour Requirements:

● Ability to work primarily 2pm to 6pm Tuesday through Friday.

● Ability to work an assigned two Saturdays a month from 10am to 4pm along with weekday scheduled shifts.

Other Required Qualifications:

● 18 years of age or older

● Ability to stand for long periods of time

● Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

● Comfortable navigating and researching the internet, required

● Knowledge of fashion trends, brands and styles is helpful

● General keyboard and computer skills

● Ability to learn our point of sale and credit card processing system.

● Wearing recommended polished and fashionable casual attire, required.

● Ability to maintain a friendly, customer service disposition during the entire shift. 

● Able to work independently and take initiative as necessary, required

Skills:

We’re looking for someone who can communicate effectively, work under pressure, make decisions independently and self-motivate, is good at time managing off a to-do list, is organized, and is a team player. Our sales floor associate enjoys a fast-paced work environment and has a desire to meet and exceed assigned goals. 

Responsibilities:

● Handle customer service to include checking out customers, answering the phone, helping customers find inventory on the sales floor, helping to load and unload larger items for the customer, put back unwanted items, becoming familiar with brands/products/prices to ensure excellent customer service. 

● Maintaining store displays, organizing and cleaning the sales floor, creating ways of re-organizing inventory to accommodate incoming inventory, restocking inventory.

● Pre-sorting consignor items, processing items into inventory.

● Perform housekeeping duties such as dusting, mopping, cleaning the bathroom, cleaning windows and counters.

Benefits and Pay:

Job Type: Part-time, with a possibility to grow full-time within 6 to 12 months.
